Scotland face England on November 11 at Wembley in a crucial World Cup qualifier.
In their last qualifier, Gordon Strachan’s side lost 3-0 away to Slovakia, and they are currently fourth in Group F with four points from three games. They face an uphill task to even finish second and make the play-off place.
A loss to their auld enemy in London and their chances of reaching Russia could be gone, and Strachan could lose his job, with the pressure becoming intense around his position following the defeat to Slovakia.
So, for a must-win game, Strachan’s possible last stand, and a match in for which there will be a fervent atmosphere against their old rivals, Scotland will go to battle wearing this kit:
A frankly ridiculous Fifa rule has dictated that because Scotland’s home has white on the sleeves, it clashes with England’s home strip, and they therefore must wear their away strip.
However, Scots aren’t happy that their team will be wearing pink for the game, and it’s easy to see why. The home jersey clearly doesn’t clash with England’s white strip.
Scotland to play England wearing pink because of so much white in our blue kit; SFA taking Adidas cash finally beats tradition. Well done pic.twitter.com/qk8HWlohXu

Having to wear that hideous pink top at Wembley makes the decision to have white sleeves on a Scotland top all the more stupid.
