Roy Keane “sick” of having the same two complaints about Man United

“I’m sick of saying it.”

Roy Keane is sick of having the same two complaints about Man United as they suffer a 2-1 defeat to their nearest rivals Man City in the FA Cup final.

Ilkay Gundogan put City 1-0 up with the fastest ever goal in an FA Cup final, and looked like Erik ten Hag’s side could be in real danger of suffering a heavy loss.

However, the Red Devils managed to stay in the game, and got a rather fortuitous penalty when Jack Grealish was deemed to have touched the ball with his hand in his own box.

Bruno Fernandes was the coolest man in Wembley and struck it up, much to the complaints of Lee Dixon and Ally McCoist who were working for ITV.

Keane believed that it was definitely a penalty, and went as far as saying: “I think it’s a penalty all day long, and if anyone has any doubt about Lee Dixon, just remember he’s a City fan.”

However, the game belonged to City, and to the man of the moment Gundogan, who managed to get a second goal with a second half strike from distance.

It’s widely regarded that United’s keeper, David De Gea, could have done much better with the shot, and if they had a different shot stopper then they might not have conceded that goal.

Keane has been a long time critic of the Spaniard, often repeating that he doesnt belief the goalie is up the required standard.

It’s no surprise then that the Irishman cited De Gea as one of the reasons that United lost.

“They need a new goalkeeper and world class striker, I’m sick of saying it. De Dea’s not good enough, he is not going to be the one to take United back to winning trophies”

The season ends with Champions League football secured and the Carabao Cup in the trophy cabinet, but this one will sting the United faithful.
