Et tu Keano?
Roy Keane is not a man who you automatically associate with the latest fashion trends or style fads. He knows what he likes and likes what he knows, and famously takes exception to the frivolous trappings of modern football (just ask Robbie Savage, David Beckham, etc).
That said, his habit of growing a long, unruly beard is quite a hipster move, so perhaps he’s been secretly fooling us all this time. Certainly his Wednesday visit to watch Barcelona train at St George’s Park had a few people wondering whether he was an undercover sartorialist.

It was Keane’s jeans that caught the eye, and more specifically their tailoring. Whereas we’d naturally assume the Man United legend would be more comfortable in a relaxed style or boot cut fit, he looked very much as home in a skinny pair. That’s right – Roy Keane, in skinny jeans.
Keano did play alongside Kasabian guitarist and tight pant advocate Serge Pizzorno during a Soccer Aid charity game in 2012 (and as you can see below, they both looked ecstatic), so maybe the pair have been exchanging fashion tips and discussing the latest hot styles…or maybe not.
Check out the Irish Russell Brand for yourself. We’ll start worrying when he starts dying his hair and donning cuban heels…

(Please, please, please don’t show this article to Roy Keane or anyone he knows…)
