The PSG players were in utter shock after Marcus Rashford’s late spot-kick sent United through.
Romelu Lukaku played a starring role in Manchester United’s 3-1 win at Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night but the striker took a moment to speak to Presnel Kimpembe at full-time.
It was Kimpembe who gave away the late penalty that sent United through, handballing Diogo Dalot’s effort from range in the final minute. It summed up a shocking night for the French team, who were outmanoeuvred by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side tactically and psychologically.

Star forward Kylian Mbappe lay flat on the turf and was consoled by United goalkeeper David de Gea and soon after by Rashford and Eric Bailly.
Meanwhile, Lukaku embraced Kimpembe and spoke to him after helping the defender, who won the World Cup with France last summer, up off the turf.
The striker had earlier bagged a brace in the first half to set the scene for Rashford’s late penalty sealed the 3-3 aggregate score that sent United into the last eight on away goals, Lukaku celebrating that moment with a cheeky not towards former United man Angel Di Maria.
