Neymar was amongst those who intervened.
Brazil duo Richarlison and Vinicius Junior had to be separated by teammates after coming to blows during a training session.
Reports claimed the pair were involved in a ‘heated altercation’ as the Selecao prepared to face Japan in a friendly in Tokyo on Monday, with pictures of the incident surfacing soon after.
It’s unclear what sparked the incident, but one of the images shows Everton’s Richarlison grabbing hold of Vinicius’ shirt while the Real Madrid man, who scored Real Madrid’s winning goal in last week’s Champions League final against Liverpool, can be seen with his hand on the side of Richarlison’s head in another.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar and Lucas Paqueta of Lyon were pictured attempting to defuse the situation.
The situation was calmed down quickly.

Although, some have suggested the pictures were misinterpreted and the pair may actually have been fooling around, reports have said the pair had to be led in separate directions after it.
Only a matter of days ago, footage had appeared of Richarlison warmly greeting Vinicius to the Brazil squad’s training camp ahead of their games with South Korea and Japan.
Richarlison scored the opening goal in Thursday’s 5-1 win against South Korea in Seoul, with Vinicius later appearing from the bench.
