Ouch, that has to hurt.
Other than the Russian hooligans versus civilisation, Cristiano Ronaldo versus Iceland has been the main conflict of Euro 2016.
The Portugal captain was pissed off with the smallest country to ever qualify for the European Championships because they had to temerity to not allow him and his side beat them.
Ronaldo hit out at their “small mentality,” and asked why were they celebrating the 1-1 draw like they had won the competition. He also appeared to refuse to swap shirts with Iceland captain Aron Gunnarsson at the end of the captain.
Cristiano Ronaldo wasn't in the f***ing mood, alright! 😡 https://t.co/4Idtwgb8RO

Iceland defender Kari Arnason hit back at the Real Madrid forward, saying:
“It makes it even sweeter when he’s a sore loser like that. I mean, he can say whatever he wants. He didn’t really get a chance today, he got one and he couldn’t put it away. What can I say? Sore loser. Tough s**t.”
However, the beef between the nation and the man with an ego the size of a continent won’t be going away any time soon if Bild have it correct about the exchange between Ronaldo and the Iceland captain.
According to German media outlet, who put their best lip-readers on the case, Ronaldo responded with a cutting remark when the Cardiff City midfielder asked to swap jerseys:
“Swap shirts? Who are you?”
Ouch.
