It’s a long way from London to Merseyside
Day one in a new job can be a nervous time for many folks, but you would try and come to work with a least a smile, even if it was a nervous one. Not so for Aaron Lennon who did his best ‘Kanye West at the Super Bowl‘ look for the cameras this morning at Everton’s training ground Finch Farm.
The winger is still only 27-years-old but had fallen out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino in recent months at White Hart Lane and was one of the only moves of significance on Deadline Day.
We’re not privy to the inner workings of Premier League clubs, but in our analysis of Deadline Day it didn’t seem there was a queue of people looking to snap up the England man.
It is probably also bad news for Aiden McGeady who was Everton’s big January transfer signing of 2014. Although if Lennon doesn’t cheer up he might not see much action as he’ll be turning all the milk at Goodison park sour with this puss on him.
Cheer up mate, it’s not like you’re trying to help the club avoid relegation just yet.

Unsurprisingly The Internet soon went to town on Aaron’s lack of enthusiasm.
