PIC: This monument dedicated to the greatness of Sepp Blatter is the strangest thing you’ll see this weekend

Some might call it art

Kevin McGillicuddy

A statue would probably have been too grand for such a modest unassuming man

We are honestly unsure where to start with this. How do you explain something so baffling that we have spent a full half hour trying to figure how how to present this to you? Let’s use the time honored tradition of pictures telling a thousand words story shall we?

Your eyes do not deceive you. That is indeed some sort of trough with a plaque in German dedicated to the FIFA president Sepp Blatter. Oh and it’s in FIFA HQ in Zurich.

Thanks to a friend who is much more proficient  in German than we are(cheers Lorraine) it seems that the plaque reads ‘Our Freeman Sepp Blatter’ and is from the Ulrichen community which is the area of Zurich that the ginormous FIFA HQ is based in.

Unfortunately, it’s empty but you can insert your own joke as to what it may be filled with or who’s nose may have been quite deep in it over the years.

Now that we think of it,maybe it is the perfect symbol for FIFA in 2015.
