As shown by Boca's official Twitter page, Gallagher was greeted by former Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, who has returned to the club he started his career with.
Tevez was a firm crowd favourite during his time at the Etihad, having left city rivals United to join the club in 2009.
While it was all smiles during his reunion with Tevez, Gallagher didn't appear too chuffed with his new Boca Juniors shirt...
