Some things are more important than football
Football fans from across the world have come together today to remember one of the worst disasters of all time with the death of over 20 people in the infamous Munich air crash of February 6th 1958. Manchester United’s ‘Busby Babes’ were effectively ripped apart by the disaster after their plane crashed shortly after take off when trying returning from a European Cup tie in Belgrade. Ireland’s Liam Whelan was one of eight United player to lose his life in the disaster
