Wonder what the lads in Tallaght would have to say about this
We may just have to have a word with the kind folk at LA Galaxy about history and geography after this poster was spotted in Los Angeles this weekend. The new MLS season is now underway stateside and Robbie Keane made a goalscoring return to action for the ‘Galaxy on Friday night in their win over Chicago Fire.
The Dubliner has been picking up praise all over the place recently and was last season named MVP for the league. But whatever he does stateside he’s still an Irishman, and that’s not going to change no matter how many times he practices saying ‘have a nice day’ or puts loads of cheese on bloody everything.
We may have to remind the boffins at his club that fact after this poster was spotted by an eagle eyed Irishman in California. It’s slightly obscured but Ross McDonagh informs us that it says ‘handcrafted in Los Angeles’.
I think you’ll find the good folk of his neighbourhood of Tallaght or his former teammates in Crumlin may disagree,
