PIC: Everton’s third kit for next season might be enough to make Ronald Koeman run for the hills

A sight for sore eyes

Darragh Murphy

It’s admirable that Everton have decided to match the colour of their new third kit with the famous tangerine tones of the Dutch kit, as well as Ronald Koeman’s luscious locks.

The Toffees are keen on tempting the Dutchman away from Southampton this summer as they aim to reinvigorate their squad following a disappointing 11th place finish under Roberto Martinez last season.

Whether or not Bill Kenwright will get his man remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure and that’s that Everton’s rumoured third kit for the 2016/17 season is as awful as a strip can possibly be.

While third kits are seldom required in the Premier League, that doesn’t make this little number any less of an atrocity.

The picture was leaked by reliable football kit website FootyHeadlines who also claim that the strip will be topped off by bright orange shorts.

It will not be in high-demand among fans, that much we promise you!
