Gold dust
That’s pretty much how hard to is to get a ticket to today’s game at the Aviva as Ireland face England in the Six Nations. So it’s a bit of a surprise to see that former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann will be among the crowd looking to see if Joe Schmidt’s side can get one over on the Old Enemy.
We know that Didi is a big cricket fan but we never thought he was a supporter of the oval ball, but maybe since he’s started doing some work for RTÉ in recent years he’s developed a liking for Paul O’Connell and Sean O’Brien.
Regardless, it caused some amusement on Twitter when the former Germany international revealed he got his hands on this weekend’s golden ticket, including SportsJOE’s own Jason McAteer.
The Republic of Ireland man asked the question all of us were wondering but Didi was ready for him.
