According to the Daily Express, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Uli Hoeness and Matthias Sammer are also unhappy that Guardiola has already committed to City with the current season approaching a crucial period.
With Bayern looking likely to retain their Bundesliga title, club chiefs are concerned that the former Barcelona manager’s agreement with City will distract him as the club eye Champions League success.
With Bayern facing a difficult tie against in-form Italian champions Juventus, it is now being suggested that failure to progress to the quarter-finals of this season’s competition could spell a premature end to Guardiola’s time in Germany.
