He has finally spoken on the matter
Pep Guardiola has addressed the ongoing speculation regarding Kevin De Bruyne’s future at Manchester City.
De Bruyne has been linked heavily with a move to Saudi Arabia and has refused to rule out the possibility of a move, stating that there was “incredible money” available there.
The midfield dynamite has one year left on his City contract and questions have recently been raised over whether he would stay at the Etihad Stadium for the upcoming season.
An undisputed Premier League legend, De Bruyne has won it all in English football with 6 titles to his name. Incredibly impressive.
When Guardiola spoke in North Carolina ahead of City’s opening pre-season game versus Celtic, he was straight to the point:

“If someone leaves, we are going to talk about that and, of course, until the last day [of the transfer window] we have chances,” he stated.
“I don’t rule out new players as an option, but I think there is an 85, 90, 95 per cent chance we will have the same squad.”
Despite the speculation, Guardiola insisted that his Belgian star would not be one of those heading for the exit door.
“Kevin isn’t leaving,” he confidently stated.
