Given some of the incredible “I cashed out my bet on Leicester to win the league” stories we’ve heard just lately, it was always going to take something truly spectacular to come along and outdo them.

It has been outdone.
One punter made what has been described as the greatest cash out of all time on Saturday, after deciding to take £53,000 from a potential £1.5m accumulator.
The staggering 22-game accumulator included predictions such as the win for QPR over Charlton – a result that only came in thanks to a 94th minute Rangers strike.
But what makes it even more spectacular is the fact that the mystery punter decided to make use of the cash out option before Barcelona faced Real Sociedad on Saturday evening.
As you might expect, the punter – said to be in his late twenties – had backed the mighty Catalan club to win the match. However, Luis Enrique’s men fell to a shock defeat against Sociedad which would have left him with nothing.
The bet was cashed out just 15 minutes before Barcelona kicked off at the Anoeta Stadium.
What a decision that was.
And we thought this one would’ve taken some beaten.
