Don’t panic, Swans fans. You’re definitely not going to get relegated now.
Swansea have all but ensured their top flight status by finding the perfect candidate to fill the gaping vacancy at Loan Player Manager.
God only knows how the club managed to survive thus far without someone in that role but, fortunately, the board finally came to their senses and filled the position.

Swansea, who recently appointed Paul Clement as their new manager, revealed on Friday evening that club legend and former caretaker manager Alan Curtis would be taking up a new role with the club.
Upon his arrival, Clement announced that there would be no place on his coaching staff for Curtis and The Independent even reported that Swansea sacked Curtis via text message.
But, luckily, a job has been found for the 62-year-old.
“Swansea City is pleased to confirm that Alan Curtis has agreed to become the club’s first Loan Player Manager,” a statement revealed.
“The club legend, who has already given over 40 years’ service to the club in numerous positions from player to caretaker manager, will oversee and monitor those players from the first team and under-23s on loan at other clubs.
“He will also assist the likes of scout Brian Flynn in the identification and recruitment of young players.”
But even with that explanation for Curtis’ new duties, supporters remained baffled about his job title.
