Lately, playing time has been limited for Bendtner, and it now seems he could be on the move once again.

Bild claims that the player’s agents are exploring opportunities to get him a transfer – possibly as soon as this month.

As well as interest from several Italian teams, it’s claimed that Newcastle United are also considering making a move for the 27-year-old.

Bendtner came through the Gunners’ youth system having first arrived at the club in 2005. Funnily enough, his senior debut was against Newcastle in 2007. The Dane scored the matchwinner in a 2-0 League Cup win.

The Geordies have only registered 19 league goals in 20 games and could desperately do with more striking options.

Their highest scorer in the league is midfielder Gigi Wijnaldum, followed by forwards Ayoze Perez [4], Aleksandar Mitrovic [3] and Papiss Cisse [2].
