Forget all this World Cup talk for just a minute or two.
Newcastle United have unveiled a new away kit for the 2018/19 season. It's dead nice, too, so let's take a minute to appreciate it, shall we? Yes. Yes we shall. Designed by Puma, Newcastle fans of a certain age will instantly recognise that their latest offering is very definitely a throwback to a much-loved nineties classic.
1995/1996 was a memorable season for Newcastle's fans. It could've so easily ended in Premier League glory, only for Manchester United to claw back their 17-point lead and eventually take the title back to Old Trafford. Despite this, Kevin Keegan's side - which boasted the likes of David Ginola, Faustino Asprilla and Les Ferdinand - played some of the most exciting football in the country during that campaign.
Their away kit at the time was pretty good too. Here, remember?
Clearly, Puma have drawn inspiration from that design when creating the Magpies' latest away kit, which was officially unveiled on Monday morning.
A similar maroon and blue colour scheme has been used for the shirt, with the same horizontal stripes also evident.

The club's crest and Puma logo appear in gold, while player names and numbers will be printed in white on the back of the shirt. The kit will be completed with white shorts and maroon socks.
