Moussa Dembele uses Anthony Joshua’s victory to take cheeky dig at Rangers

He also called out an alleged racist gesture from a fan

This is expert level trolling from Celtic star Moussa Dembele.

It was so one-sided, so tough to watch and that finish… man, at least the misery came to an end. If only the towel was thrown in, if only there was a mercy rule in place, but alas, it carried on until the bitter end. And that music? Yeesh!

A few hours after that absolute annihilation by Celtic against Rangers at the Ibrox, the heavyweight world championship was decided as Anthony Joshua came back from the brink to knock out the great Wladimir Klitschko.

Moussa Dembele didn’t feature in the Old Firm clash, but he was supporting his teammates. This support extended to when he was tuning into Anthony Joshua’s moment of glory in Wembley. He couldn’t resist using the opportunity to score some points on Celtic’s bitter city rivals.

Cheeky, and considerably less cringey than his follow-up. Using his own name as a pun was a particular low-point. ‘Dembolished’? Come on, man!

Unsurprisingly, #Dembelition didn’t start trending as Joshuamania swept the internet.

Earlier in the day, Dembele also had his say on that Rangers fan who appeared to make a racist monkey gesture at Scott Sinclair who was celebrating after scoring from the spot.

He chose just two words for the caption – ‘mindless gesture’.
