Gary Neville’s time in La Liga didn’t exactly go to plan.
The former Manchester United captain has parted ways with Valencia after just four months at the Mestalla – and it’s clear he’s disappointed in himself about it.
With a novice coach taking on one of the biggest jobs in Spain and managing only three league wins in 16 attempts, Neville’s dismissal was hardly surprising.
And I thought taking bullshit Alex Ferguson said in teamtalks at face value + repeating it to people would be a sure fire managerial success

real shame that Gary Neville taking a job because his rich mate owns the club didn't work out

Plenty were happy to celebrate the failures of the former Sky Sports pundit.
GARY NEVILLE SACKED! HAHAHAHA.

But others had a more sympathetic view.
Can't really laugh at someone who had the balls to take a gamble #Neville

Obviously Neville’s sudden unemployment gave everyone the same idea.

I think every man now wants Gary Neville back at SkySports. MNF isn't the same. 🙏🏼

Still, there’s always one.
I actually think that Gary did a good job of managing Valencia.
