#Unacceptable.
They’re cracking down at The Den.
The reputation of some Millwall fans precedes them but, for Lewisham Metropolitan Police, it’s not about that – it’s about the law. It’s black and white and, if you step outside of the realms of legality, you will be caught.
So, whilst some might expect some more extremes at a Millwall match, the big controversy on Saturday when they beat Sheffield United 2-1 was that someone stole a football.
Someone stole a football.
But the police acting swiftly.
A male has been arrested for theft of the match ball @MillwallFC after it was kicked off & he took it out of the stadium. 🦁

The arrested party was not alone but there’s no discrimination when it comes to breaking the law.
are fully supporting the police course action. This sort of behaviour is not acceptable at @MillwallFC what made it worse is >>>

This being 2016 though – and Twitter – people turned their anger at the justice-keepers.
The dealing of it seemed extreme to some.

So the police cracked down there as well.

Was the arrest necessary?
A telling off in front of his son would been enough..Not in the publics interest to proceed IMO.
