Marko Grujic was Jurgen Klopp’s first signing for the club back in January, before returning to Red Star Belgrade on-loan for the rest of the season.
Liverpool fans finally got to see the 19-year-old Serbian midfielder in action on Wednesday night, in a pre-season friendly away to Fleetwood Town, and they were impressed.
Grujic scored the opening goal of the game with a tidy finish.
Sadio Mane, another new signing for Klopp’s side, played in Alberto Moreno (yeah, he’s still at the club) who cut the ball back across the penalty area, finding Grujic, who arrived late in the area and slotted the ball home.

It may be a pre-season friendly against a League One side, but that didn’t stop Liverpool fans getting excited about Grujic for the upcoming season.
