Manchester United have just announced Alexis Sanchez with the most dramatic video

No wonder it took them so long.

Alexis Sanchez is a Manchester United player – we know because the club went to the lengths of producing a gloriously dramatic video of someone playing ‘Glory, Glory Man United’ on piano with Sanchez taking in the cold Old Trafford air in his new kit.

At last, it is official.

The signing of Alexis Sanchez fills a gaping hole in the Manchester United attack where once they only had Martial, Rashford, Lingard, Mata, Mkitaryan and Ashley Young and Pogba if needed, they’ve finally added some flair there in the form of Sanchez.

The move sees Mkhitaryan going in the other direction towards Arsenal, not that United wanted to get too hung up on that.

“I am thrilled to be joining the biggest club in the world,” Alexis Sanchez said after his deal with City broke down again.

“I have spent three-and-a-half wonderful years at Arsenal and I bring with me very positive memories of that great club and its fans. The chance to play in this historic stadium and to work with Jose Mourinho was something I could not turn down.

“I am very proud to be the first Chilean player ever to play for United’s first team and I hope I can show our fans all around the world why the club wanted to bring me here.”
