What the hell did Louis Van Gaal do to them?
We’re not saying that Manchester United fans are struggling to adapt to a change of manager, but they do seem to be acting like eye-shielding hostages who have been let out of a dark hole for the first time in years.
Jose Mourinho took charge of the club for the first time on Saturday at the DW Stadium against Wigan Athletic. It was only a friendly but United supporters around the world had their eyes glued to the coverage to witness the start of a new chapter.
It didn’t take long for them to notice a very obvious difference between the snoresome tactics of old boss Louis van Gaal and those of the new manager. It may not sound like much but they all seemed to be impressed with something most fans take for granted.
Mourinho may be spending a fortune trying to fashion this United squad into a title-challenging outfit, but little did he know that the little things mean so much…

Can't remember the last time I saw some many forward passes in a Manchester United game.
