Much ado about nothing?
Anyone associated with Louis van Gaal or the management at Manchester United know that anything they say, tweet or Instagram at the moment is going to be scrutinised.
Everyone is desperate for clues as to the immediate future of the club’s current manager, and so everything is dissected and analysed for any sort of message.
On Sunday morning, United’s chief goalkeeping coach Frans Hoek tweeted a wordless image of what looked like the sun at dawn from his personal account…

Nothing to see here you may think…wrong! Twitter being Twitter, and football fans being football fans, it generated various theories as to its meaning.
Some took it as confirmation that Van Gaal would get a stay of execution…
