Aguero was a passenger in a taxi en route to the airport in Amsterdam after attending a concert by the Colombian singer, Maluma. When the driver lost control of the vehicle, it hit a column on the side of the road.
Just recently, the former Atletico Madrid man posted this image on Instagram from Amsterdam.
ESPN sources have said that the talismanic Man City striker could miss six to eight weeks because of the injury.
It goes without saying that he’s definitely not going to be available for City’s Premier League clash against Chelsea this weekend.
This news caps a horrendous week for Man City on the injury front. Full-back Benjamin Mendy ruptured his ACL playing against Crystal Palace last weekend and is set to be out of action for the next nine months.
Regarding Aguero, his former club Independiente have wished him a quick recovery.
