He may no longer be Bayern Munich manager, but Pep Guardiola continues to make life difficult for Borussia Dortmund.
The new Manchester City manager is set to take another player from the German club, a week after Ilkay Gundogan joined, with Sky Sports reporting that City are in talks over a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 26 year old striker scored 39 goals in 46 games for Dortmund last season, and was named the Bundesliga Player of the Year.
Sky don’t mention any potential fee for the striker, but he certainly won’t come cheap.
Aubameyang, who has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Manchester United, joined AC Milan in 2007, but failed to a make a first team appearance.
The Gabonese striker had a series of loan spells before settling at Saint-Etienne and joining Dortmund in 2013.
He was named 2015 African Player of the Year.
