Man United’s insane injury list grows even further ahead of Liverpool game

Lee Costello

The list is never-ending.

Man United’s already insane injury list have become even longer ahead of their trip Anfield this Sunday to pllay Liverpool in the Premier League.

Erik ten Hag’s side have been struggling greatly this season, and last night crashed out of the Champions League following a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich that saw them finish bottom of their group.

Failing to finish even in third place means that they won’t enter the Europa League competition either, and will play no further games in Europe this season, but given the extent of injuries that they have, less games might be a good thing.

The latest to join the physio waiting room was Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire who both picked up knocks in last night’s game, and were not able to see out the 90 minutes, making them both doubtful for Sunday.

Then Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have picked up illnesses that ruled them out of the Champions League tie, and it is a race against time whether they will recover or not.

Just to compound matters, Bruno Fernandes picked up a suspension in their last PL game, ruling the United captain out of there visit to Anfield.
