On the mend.

Luke Shaw is to return to first-team training for Manchester United next week, reports The Daily Telegraph.

The 20 year old hasn’t played since suffering a horror injury last September against PSV in a Champions League tie, when the left-back fractured his right leg in two places.

Shaw will return to training within the next seven to 10 days, and is in-line to make a first-team appearance before the end of the season.GettyImages-488328522United will also give the defender a specially tailored fitness programme for the summer to ensure he’s ready to go at the start of next season.

Whether Shaw comes back in time to make England’s Euro 2016 squad remains to be seen, but all football fans will undoubtedly welcome the return of a talented young player following such a horrific injury.
