The Jose Mourinho effect.
Whatever you think of Manchester United’s new manager, however much you don’t like him or think he’ll lose the plot or ignore youth players, one thing is absolutely certain with Mourinho: he will put a good team on the pitch. He will put a league-winning team on the pitch.
Already, Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are on their way to Old Trafford. Already. In the first week of July.
And now it looks like the club are ready to welcome the return of one of the most sought-after pieces of property in the football world.
Say hello to Paul Pogba. Again. Just don’t ignore him this time.

The English giants are reportedly bidding a world record transfer fee to buy back the French playmaker, who they let go in 2011.
Pogba, now 23, is looking like he will cost United over 120 million euros (£103m).
Italian outlet Di Marzio are saying that the deal is all but done with the player agreeing terms with his old club and now it just rests on Juventus accepting United’s nine-figure offer.

Pogba has won four Serie A titles and two cups since moving to Italy as well as having played in a Champions League final and, as an attacking midfielder, he became the main man for Juventus.
It was thought that Real Madrid also had him on their radars but Jose Mourinho has signalled the Frenchman as his main transfer target for the summer and looks to be well on his way to securing it.
Note: if Manchester United finalise the deal, then will break any record paying Pogba 145m€ (120 to Juve + 25 to agent)

Pogba wages at Manchester United would be approximately treble than what he earns at Juventus

Money talks the talk. Mourinho walks the walk.
