Liverpool’s end of season awards were a complete one-man show

Yep, you’ve guessed it: Philippe Coutinho.

There hasn’t been a one-horse race like it. Not since Leicester won the league anyway.

But a Brazilian completely took all the drama out of Liverpool’s end of season awards – the exact same way Leicester’s dominance ended up becoming boring.

Deserved, brilliant, sure. But boring.

Philippe Coutinho took four awards home as the Merseyside outfit honoured Jurgen Klopp’s finest in a season that won’t end until they take for Basel for the small matter of a Europa League final.

But the presentations have been done and here’s how the club voted for their award-winners for the 2015/16 season.
