Roy Keane tells Micah Richards to calm down

Micah on Trent saying Liverpool’s titles mean more: “That’s his opinion. There’s nothing wrong with his opinion. But people go on like Man City was only created in 2008 when we got the investment, but Man City was always getting 20,000, 30,000, in the lower leagues. They come from good stock and now they’ve started to win things everyone wants to lump in. Yes, they’ve spent a lot of money, but they’ve got a great manager, great players, they’ve just won a treble, they’ve won the league multiple times, I have no problem…”

Keane smiled throughout the whole thing and said “Calm… Micah… It’s a long day ahead.”

Richards started again with: “Alisson was £75million, so was Van Dijk. Think about Phil Foden, coming through the academy and winning a treble. He’ll have his opinion on it (Trent’s comments).”

Dave Jones then said “Relax Micah, ease your way in today.”
