Leicester City have been splashing the cash after winning the Premier League.
Claudio Ranieri’s team will go straight into the Champions League group stage as seeds, having ended last season a full 10 points clear of runners-up Arsenal, and need reinforcements for those extra games.
They have already brought in former Manchester United goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler to play back-up to Kasper Schmeichel, as well as Spanish defender Luis Hernandez and young Spanish forward Raul Uche.
And now they have added a fourth new player – French midfielder Nampalys ‘Papy’ Mendy.

The 24-year-old is yet to win a senior cap for his country, but has represented Les Bleus at every level from Under-18 to Under-21.
He is familiar to Ranieri, having been part of the Monaco team which won promotion to Ligue 1 under the Italian manager in 2013, and arrives for an undisclosed fee thought to be at least £10m.
Mendy has made 120 appearances for Nice in the last three seasons, and didn’t miss a single league game last season as the club narrowly missed out on a Champions League berth.
“I know the coach, I know his mentality and I know his philosophy. When he speaks it’s direct and clear and for me I like this,” he told Leicester’s official site.
