Beer or water?
Things just get better and better for Leicester City fans.
The club secured their Premier League survival in the last few weeks, and now the hard pressed fans are getting a chance to end the season in style after a pretty sound gesture from the owners of the club.
Vichai and Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha(our spell-check just broke) last year marked promotion to the Premier League by buying every season ticket holder a pint as a thank-you for their loyalty during the season.
Well they’ve offered to do the same thing this season as a token of how much the club’s support has meant to Nigel Pearson’s side during their long struggle during this season’s Premier League campaign.
In a statement on the club’s website the owners revealed their frankly brilliant plan,
‘Just as they did to mark the Club’s promotion to the top flight 12 months ago, Leicester City’s Chairman and Vice Chairman will be buying the first round for the Blue Army as a gesture of appreciation for their fantastic support throughout the campaign.’
‘Every home match ticket holder will be able to redeem a voucher on entry to the stadium and claim a free beer or bottle of water from King Power Stadium kiosks before 2.45pm.’
The club looked doomed to be relegated back to the Championship until an incredible run of form late in the season saw the Foxes embark on a run of wins that saw them escape the mire.

They can now look forward to another season in the top-flight, and as our mother used to say, a little gratitude goes a long way,
‘Even during the most difficult times of the season, when everyone thought we had no chance, our loyal fans continued to believe and continued to get behind the team.’
‘Our players have been continually inspired by their support, which has been a key factor in the team securing another season of Premier League football.’
