Jose Mourinho reveals what was said during his touchline dispute with Jurgen Klopp

Tempers flared between Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho on Sunday afternoon.

One in particular didn't go down well with Klopp. Late in the game, Ander Herrera fouled Roberto Firmino as the Liverpool forward broke away. Klopp was furious and appeared to take his anger out on Mourinho and his assistant Rui Faria. Mourinho was asked about the incident following the game, and if there was a problem between him and his Liverpool counterpart: "Nah. He thought I was asking for his player to be sent off, I wasn't. No problem at all," the United manager said.

"I think the game was correct, I think the players gave everything in an emotional way, professional way. "I think the referee managed very well that part of the game, aggression but good. So I think the game was a great publicity for the Premier League all around the world."

"I think the ref whistled before anything else happened. Roberto is a footballer from head to toe and he wanted to stay in the game. "He could have passed the ball, but that was a yellow card for Herrera and nothing else. In the end it was a yellow card for the guy who wanted to play football."
