Brace yourselves. The John Terry full kit w*nker jokes will be coming thick and fast if this goes ahead…

As we’re all well aware, Terry’s Chelsea career might well be over.

The sending off he picked up in the defeat to Sunderland last weekend will see him suspended for the remainder of the season.

Despite the club finally offering the defender a new contract, a post on his Instagram account has revealed that he wishes to think carefully before deciding where his future lies.

With his time at Stamford Bridge possibly up, Chelsea have now reportedly made a special request to the Premier League, asking them if John Terry can lead out the team in their final home game against Leicester City on Sunday.

A report in The Times claims that the club have taken the unusual step as Terry considers the one year contract extension he was offered on Friday. League officials are reluctant to set a precedence by allowing Terry to do so.

Terry attended the club’s end of season dinner on Friday night where the likes of former players Gianluca Vialli and Frank Lampard paid tribute to him.

According to reports, Terry was too emotional to take to the stage and couldn’t hold back the tears.
