He doesn't score many from outside the box

Oh how Manchester United could d…. blah, blah.

The whole ‘Javier Hernandez is running riot in Germany’ story has been written time and time again since he set sail from the Premier League in the summer.

But you’d struggle to find a better goal that Chicharito has scored since moving to Bayer Leverkusen than this sumptuous effort on Friday night.

Hernandez put the tie beyond Wolfsburg with a strike in the 73rd minute that he won’t soon forget.

Ten minutes after coming off the bench, the Mexican international received the ball on the left-hand side of the box and let fly with a shot that was so destined for the bottom right corner that goalkeeper Diego Banaglio didn’t even bother to move towards it.
