James McCarthy has been getting truckloads of abuse for his challenge on Dimitri Payet

A lot of unhappy Hammers

James McCarthy is about as popular as Big Sam and the Millwall mascot around Upton Park at the minute.

A tackle from the Everton midfielder has left West Ham’s star man Dimitri Payet out of action for three months.

The challenge came during the 1-1 draw on Saturday and the Republic of Ireland international, who earned a yellow card for the tackle, is now facing the wrath of some furious Hammers calling for retrospective punishment and a little bit more.

Just to warn you, some of it is pretty disgusting.
