When the Irish are in town, good times tend to follow.
France has received a healthy injection of craic in the last few days as supporters clad in green flood Paris, and other cities, ahead of the Republic of Ireland’s Euro 2016 opener against Sweden on Monday.
And while the trouble in Marseille has somewhat marred the opening days of the tournament, the Irish supporters have been receiving heaps of praise from the locals for their impeccable, if not always sober, behaviour.
They travel in droves
They’re very easily entertained

You won’t find friendlier people
They’re helpful
They’re drinking in the French culture
They’re “the coolest” apparently
The passion, oh the passion would give chills to a tulip. Whatever that means.
They’re wonderfully weird
Wow, just wow!
A loud ol’ bunch, they are (gueulaient means yelling)
They’re just a lovable crowd
