Pep Guardiola doesn’t appear to be letting the small matter of trying to steer Bayern Munich towards a treble get in the way of his preparations for next season.
According to reports, the soon-to-be Manchester City coach appears to have secured some kind of deal for German international Ilkay Gundogan.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been linked with a switch to the red half of Manchester over the past few transfer windows, and was also rumoured to be keen to link up with old boss Jurgen Klopp after he was appointed as Liverpool manager.
But Spanish publication, SPORT, claim that Gundogan has now committed himself to a switch to City.
According to the report, Barcelona recently enquired about the 25-year-old’s availability, only to be told by the player that he’d agreed to be part of Pep Guardiola’s revolution at the Etihad.
