Aston Villa 2 – 4 Arsenal
Gabriel Martinelli has sent Arsenal back to the top of the table with a late screamer against Aston Villa, and he was so confident he would score, that he was celebrating before he even shot.
Granted, the Brazilian was bearing down on an open goal, as the Villa keeper was in the Arsenal box trying to help his team score from a corner that instead turned into the perfect counter for the London side.
It didn’t all go Arsenal’s way however, as they found themselves 2-1 down at half time thanks to goals from Ollie Watkins and Philippe Coutinho.
Villa started the brighter side, and it looked like Unai Emery was going to get revenge on his former club who of course sacked him following a string of poor results.
However, Zinchenko continued to prove why he was one of the buys of the season by getting the equaliser, and even though the Midlands team did everything in their power to keep it a draw, it wasn’t to be.

With the clock ticking into injury time, Jorginho smashed a rocket against the crossbar, which then ricocheted off the back of goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez into the back of the net.
In an attempt to redeem himself, the Argentinian shot-stopper joined his team in the opposition box for a corner to try and get a equaliser, but that’s when disaster struck.

Arsenal broke on the counter, with the ball finding itself at the feet of the lightening fast Martinelli, who didn’t even have a goalie to beat as he sprinted towards the net.
In a moment of beautiful shithousery, the Brazil star started celebrating before he even took his shot, but there was no way he was going to miss, and now Arsenal restore their place at the top of the league.
