Amid reported interest from Everton and, shockingly, Liverpool it seems as though there is no Premier League return on the cards for Nani.
Nani, backed to follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo when he joined Manchester United in 2007, enjoyed some success at Old Trafford before being deemed to be out of his depth and cut adrift in recent seasons.
A loan spell at Sporting Lisbon was followed by a permanent deal in Turkey with Fenerbahce but that is apparently about to be cut short.
According to Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim, Nani will be finalising a move to La Liga once his involvement in Euro 2016 with Portugal comes to a close.
Speaking to AMK Sport and translated by Marca, Yildirim claimed that Valencia are set to trigger Nani’s release clause this summer.
“Nani will play for Valencia next season,” said Yildirim.
The winger is believed to be a key target for new Valencia boss Pako Ayestaran as he aims to improve on a lacklustre season, one which saw Gary Neville appointed manager and sacked within five months.
