The FA Cup fourth-round draw has served up some intriguing matches

Matthew Gault

The magic of the FA Cup is alive and well.

The draw for the FA Cup fourth-round has served up some intriguing ties, including Manchester United travelling to face Yeovil Town and Liverpool hosting West Brom.

Jose Mourinho’s side facing Yeovil is a glorious upset waiting to happen, while Alan Pardew will hope to inflict some pain on Liverpool at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp’s Reds would have been hoping for a lower league side but will have to settle for an all-Premier League affair.

Assuming that Chelsea beat Norwich at home in their third-round replay, the Blues hosting Newcastle is another tasty prospect. Finally, Newport County’s reward for defeating Leeds at the weekend is a date with Harry Kane and co as Spurs travel to South Wales.

Premier League leaders will face either Cardiff or Mansfield.

Here is the draw in full. The ties will be played between 26-29 January.
