Everyone is ripping the p*ss out of Teddy Sheringham’s outfit at the West Ham game

Where clothes are concerned, it’s always best to play it safe if you’re going to be on the telly.

Unless you want the whole Twittersphere having a pop at your threads, that is.

Sartorially flamoyant Exeter boss Paul Tisdale took a hammering on social media when he rocked up to the Liverpool FA Cup match wearing some fancy clobber.

Now former Manchester United, West Ham and England striker Teddy Sheringham has suffered the same fate.

The ex-Hammers  star was doing some TV work for the Irons’ final game at the Boleyn Ground as the faced United.

We happened to think he looked pretty dapper in his herringbone baker boy hat, but fans on Twitter were left wondering if he’d rocked up straight from an audition for the BBC’s 1920s Brummy gangster series Peaky Blinders.
