Emre Can could well have played his last game for Liverpool.
A back injury has kept Can out of action for two months and it remains to be seen whether he will recover in time for next weekend’s Champions League final.
If he doesn’t make Jurgen Klopp’s squad for the game then it looks almost certain that the midfielder has already pulled on the red jersey for the last time.
As has been expected for some time, Can is set to move to Juventus when his contract with Liverpool comes to an end this summer.

Juventus have been linked with Can throughout the season and the Serie A champions hope to confirm the signing of the German international as soon as Liverpool wrap their season up.
“We are optimistic about the positive end of negotiations with Emre Can,” Juve CEO Beppe Marotta told Mediaset Premium.
“We hope to announce his signing after the Champions League final.”
Reports last month claimed that the 24-year-old had been holding out for an improved contract of £200,000 a week to stay at Anfield but those stories were rubbished by Klopp.
Can joined Liverpool in 2014 and has made 166 appearances for the Reds and while it’s possible that he makes his 167th in the Champions League final, that looks like it will be that for his time on Merseyside.
