Dimitri Payet has been linked with a return to West Ham United next season just one year after leaving the club in 2017.
Payet joined the Hammers from Marseille in 2015 and spent two seasons at Upton Park before moving back to the club in January 2017.
The French international was voted West Ham’s Player of the Year in his first season at the club, as well as being named in the PFA Team of the Year that season, and it now looks like he could be set for a return to London next season after his representatives reportedly made contact with West Ham about securing a move back to the Irons.

It’s come as a surprise partly because of the manner of his departure and also because Payet is thought to be happy in France. Would be a stunning story if it happens #whufc

Elsewhere Jack Wilshere looks set to join the club and will reportedly undergo a medical on Friday.
It is believed that Wilshere is close to agreeing terms with the club after leaving Arsenal last month nearly a decade after making his competitive debut for the club in 2008.
