This is an absolute joke.
Leicester City fans may find some things around the club hard to believe at present.
Champions League football has been secured and now they are just a few games away from winning the Premier League title.
It’s no wonder some are walking around in a daydream.
But the shock of being charged almost a small fortune to join the party would bring anyone back to reality with a smack to the face in the closing weeks of the campaign.
If Claudio Ranieri’s side do win the league, then the final home game of the season will be some celebration. The hottest ticket in Leicester, a genuine once-in-a-lifetime event.
However, that game is sold out, and fans desperate to get tickets on the black market are being asked to shell out a fortune to witness history.
According to The Guardian, tickets for the game are available on a re-sale website for £15,000, despite being initially sold for £35-£50.
Tickets for match were gone within 90 minutes on Monday and the club has promised that they will actively try and weed out any touting of access to the ground next month.
The club told a local newspaper that they are actively trying to work against touts and will take action if tickets are found to be sold over their face value.
However, we suspect that some fans could be mad enough to pay £15,000 to see Jamie Vardy and his team-mates lift the Premier League trophy in a few weeks’ time.
