The outgoing Hammers boss will start the new role just a couple of weeks after the Premier League season comes to an end.
David Moyes looks set to take on a much different role to managing a Premier League side next month when he joins the official talkSport commentary team for UEFA Euro 2024.
Last week, West Ham United announced via their Twitter account that Moyes would mutually part ways with the club at the end of this season, and former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Julen Lopetegui has already apparently agreed a deal to take over from the former Everton boss.
West Ham United can confirm David Moyes will leave the Club by mutual consent at the end of the 2023/24 season, when his contract expires.

Moyes’ side were thrashed 5-0 by Chelsea last Sunday to leave them ninth in the table. Many fans will choose to remember the good times under Moyes, as he led them to the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy last year, beating Italian side Fiorentina 2-1.
However, it looks as though the former Scottish International centre-back won’t have much time off after parting ways with the east London team.
Moyes will get a big send off at his last home game at London stadium this Saturday, as West Ham face Luton Town who are battling relegation to the Championship.
The 61-year-old’s final game in charge will come against title contenders Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday 19th May.
From the 14th June, Moyes will then be a part of the talkSport commentary and punditry team for the Euro 2024 coverage.
England and Scotland both qualified for this year’s tournament, and Moyes will be joined by fellow former Premiership manager Alan Pardew, former Scotland captain Graeme Souness and Ashley Young, who played under Moyes during his shirt tenure as Manchester United manager.
TalkSport announced their lineup for the tournament earlier today, and will cover all 51 games that take place across the four weeks.

Moyes has also been linked with another managerial opportunity, which would see him step away from club management and into the international football sphere.
The Irish FA are currently hunting for their permanent successor to Stephen Kenny, who was sacked as manager of the Republic of Ireland following an uninspiring Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, but may not announce their choice until September.
Former Manchester United defender John O’Shea is operating as interim manager for the moment, but another former countryman has spoken about Moyes’ suitability for the vacant role.
Kevin Kilbane, who played alongside in the 1990s for Preston North End and then was signed by the then-Everton manager ion 2003, posted on Twitter that his former boss would be “perfect” for the Republic of Ireland job.

The only stumbling block in the FAI’s chances of securing Moyes for the job would be his £6 million salary at West Ham. While he has never managed an international side in his 27 years of management, his triumphs at Everton and the Hammers make it likely that he would succeed in charge of the boys in green.
