Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has agreed a deal with a new club, according to reports.
Having been out of action all last season, it looks like the four-time Red Devils Player of the Year could finally be set for a return to action.
Italian side Fiorentina are reportedly set to swoop for the player, with a deal ‘very close’ and ‘advanced’.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, De Gea has been in talks with Fiorentina ahead of the new Serie A season. The former Spain goalkeeper is expected to sign a one year contract with the option of another year.
De Gea has been without a club since leaving Man United at the end of the 2022/23 season.
The 33-year-old played over 500 times for the Red Devils and was a key part of the team that won the Premier League in the 2012/13 season, and the FA Cup in 2016.
